@a2es@mstdn.social Thanks for the hint. I already had looked at pjsua, but found it too complicated to build.

Yesterday I came across it again looking at (base to the docker image) for software. In Alpine it is easy to install, but I couldn't get it to make a call using .de in a quick test.

I'll need to look at a working connection again to find the differences in the sip traces.

Once installed pjsua is like baresip a really nice client.

Hm, does someone know a client that works from the on with 1und1.de ?

I tried

  • linphonec, but didn't get it to register on my arm64 debian installation
  • I like baresip, but I couldn't configure it to register to register with 1und1.de
  • sipsimpleclient.org - worked somehow on my desktop, but didn't get it installed on arm64

It doesn't need to be fancy, I'm just looking for a simple tool to let a phone ring. No need to connect nor for audio transmission.
